About this product
The IC-GM1600 is a GMDSS survival-craft two-way radio built to IMO resolution MSC.149(77), transmitting and receiving on 156.300 to 156.875MHz with selectable 2W or 1.2W RF output. It is rated to withstand 1 metre of water immersion and, fitted with the optional BP-234 lithium battery pack, delivers more than 8 hours of operating time even at -20C. Compact and lightweight at 385g and 65 x 145 x 44mm, it produces up to 700mW of internal speaker audio for use in survival craft and lifeboats.
