The Samyung SNX-300 is a dedicated NAVTEX receiver tuned to the international 518kHz English broadcast frequency plus 490kHz or 4209.5kHz local-language frequencies, using F1B demodulation with 2μV sensitivity and a rated 4% error rate. It displays received messages on a 5.6 inch LCD (320 x 240) and can also print them via a built-in thermal serial dot printer, storing up to 200 messages per channel (1.6 million characters) with permanent storage for 50 messages and a maximum retention period of 72 hours. The unit runs on a DC 10V to 36V supply, weighs 2.6kg, and is rated for operation from -15°C to +55°C.
