About this product
The IC-R8600 is a wideband communications receiver covering 10kHz to 3GHz (EXP version) with direct sampling on the HF bands and double or triple superheterodyne conversion at higher frequencies for consistent performance across the range. It demodulates USB, LSB, CW, FSK, AM, FM, WFM and digital modes including D-STAR, P25 Phase 1, NXDN, dPMR and DCR, and stores 2000 regular memory channels across 100 groups plus dedicated auto memory write, skip and scan edge channels. Three antenna connectors (Type-N, PL-259 and RCA) support different frequency segments, and the receiver draws 1.8A on standby from a 13.8V DC supply, weighing 4.3kg in a 220 x 90 x 230mm case.
