Overview
The IC-F3400D is Icom’s VHF digital handheld, running NXDN or dPMR across 136 to 174 MHz with up to 4,000 channels available as an option, and IP68 dust-tight, waterproof protection. It supports trunking through NXDN Type-D or dPMR Mode 3, multi-site connectivity and voting scan for larger deployments, and Over-the-Air-Programming lets a fleet be reconfigured remotely rather than requiring each radio connected to a programming cable individually. Mix Mode operation lets it run analog channels alongside digital ones, so a fleet can transition from an existing analog system gradually rather than all at once.
