Overview
The IC-F4400D is Icom’s UHF digital handheld, running NXDN or dPMR across 380 to 470 MHz and 450 to 512 MHz with up to 4,000 channels available as an option, and IP68 dust-tight, waterproof protection. It supports trunking through NXDN Type-D or dPMR Mode 3, multi-site connectivity and voting scan for larger deployments, and Over-the-Air-Programming lets a fleet be reconfigured remotely rather than requiring each radio connected to a programming cable individually. Mix Mode operation lets it run analog channels alongside digital ones, so a fleet can transition from an existing analog system gradually rather than all at once.
