Overview
The IC-F6400D is Icom’s UHF digital mobile radio, running NXDN across 380 to 470 MHz and 450 to 512 MHz at up to 50 W output, with up to 4,000 channels available as an option. Built for vehicle installation, it draws from the vehicle’s own electrical system to deliver substantially more transmit power and range than a handheld, making it suited to a supervisor or dispatcher vehicle anchoring a site’s communication, or a fleet needing reliable contact from the edges of a large coverage area.
