Overview
The IC-FR6000 is Icom’s UHF repeater, covering 400 to 470 MHz and combining two RF modules in one slim, rackmount unit so digital and analog operation, or two separate channels, can run from a single chassis. It delivers 50 W output at a 50% duty cycle, or 25 W continuously at 100% duty cycle, and supports both digital and analog signalling across 32 channels. Sited with a properly elevated antenna, it extends the effective range of every handheld and mobile radio on the system far beyond what any single unit could reach on its own.
