About this product
The AIT6000 is Digital Yacht’s flagship Class B transponder, transmitting over SOTDMA at 5 W for the more reliable slot access that matters in busy traffic, and built around an integral VHF splitter so it shares the vessel’s existing VHF antenna rather than requiring a second mast fitting. Output reaches both NMEA 2000 and Wi-Fi simultaneously, putting AIS targets on a networked chartplotter and on a phone or tablet at the same time, and the unit includes configurable alarms for AIS SART and MOB device detection. It represents the top of Digital Yacht’s Class B range, aimed at a vessel that wants SOTDMA performance and modern connectivity without stepping up to Class A.
