About this product

AIB1000 is a certified AIS Class B transponder from Digital Yacht designed to operate independently of the boat's electrical system, running from an internal battery for up to five days of continuous use, or 120 hours of active operation, with a full recharge taking around five hours. It transmits position data every 30 seconds when underway and static data every three minutes, and its integrated antenna carries an IPx8 waterproof rating. The transponder can also be wired directly to onboard power via an optional DC cable kit, and comes with a mounting bracket and rapid AC charging dock.
