The AMEC B620S is a Class B CS AIS transceiver that adds an integrated VHF splitter to the B620 platform, letting it share a single VHF antenna with an existing radio via its dedicated VHF radio connector. It uses the same 72-channel multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS) with 2.5m accuracy, transmits at 2 Watts (+33 dBm) over CSTDMA, and outputs data through two NMEA 0183 ports, NMEA 2000 (LEN=1) and a USB-C virtual COM port. It shares the B620's 151 x 129 x 50 mm, 400g footprint, IP68 waterproof rating and -25C to +55C operating range, and meets the same IEC 62287-1, IEC 61108-1 and IEC 60945 standards.
