It carries a built-in GPS, GLONASS and Galileo receiver at 10 Hz with WAAS support alongside a built-in 1 kW CHIRP sonar with traditional, ClearVu and SideVu scanning up to 1200 kHz. It adds an HDMI video output and a BNC external GPS antenna port on top of the connectivity found on the smaller GPSMAP xsv models, with NMEA 2000, dual NMEA 0183 ports, a J1939 port, two Garmin Marine Network ports, a 12-pin transducer port, USB, Bluetooth, ANT and Wi-Fi. It supports up to 5,000 waypoints, 50 saved tracks and 100 routes, drawing a typical 1.68 A at 12 Vdc.
