The MA-510TR is a Class B AIS transponder that transmits and receives on the AIS channels between 161.500 and 162.025MHz using GMSK modulation, with an integrated DSC receiver on channel 70 (156.525MHz) for distress alert monitoring. It includes a built-in 72-channel GPS receiver supporting WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN differential correction, supplied with a dedicated GPS antenna on a 10 metre cable. The transponder outputs 2W, runs from a 12V or 24V DC supply drawing 1.5A on transmit, and weighs 700g in a 166.2 x 110.2 x 92.5mm housing.
