Overview
The IC-F8101 is a professional HF SSB transceiver covering 0.5 to 29.9999MHz on receive and 1.6 to 29.9999MHz on transmit, with 500 programmable channels for fleet and long-range communication use. It supports J3E, A3E, A1A, F1B and J2B emission modes and delivers up to 125W PEP output (export/USA version) or 100W (Australia version) across selectable power levels, drawing up to 28A on transmit from a 13.8V DC negative-ground supply. In the controller-attached configuration it measures 174 x 62 x 259mm and weighs 3.9kg.
